So What are the effects of menopause?

The body - As we age the ability to rebuild collagen is decreased.

The fat layer under the skin starts to decrease and this may lead to wrinkles and sagging skin.

With the decrease in the hormone estrogen, bone density may because an issue. Estrogen has anti inflammatory properties and its decrease may allow swelling in the joints to occur.  Sometimes this swelling is mistaken for arthritis.  While some impact is beneficial for the bones and also for rebudiling collagen.

Muscle and skin tonicity loss there may sometimes be weight gain. Usually this appears around the middle with simultaneous loss of fat around the hips and thighs. Can be a combination of hormonal fluctuations and the slowing down of metabolism.  So we need to encourage Cardio activity which needs to be for at least 20-30 minutes for the body to start burning its fat storage.
