I have been in the fitness industry for 11 years. I started teaching aerobics then trained in other areas. I now teach Spinning, RPM, PureStretch, Body Balance (a blend of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates based exercises) and Pilates.
I started to study Pilates in September 2006 and gained my Level 2 CYMCA Pilates certificate. I started to teach pilates by covering classes and set up my own classes in village halls. I loved teaching pilates, so I went on to gain my Level 3 CYMCA Pilates Qualification April 2008.
Pilates has become a very important part of my life because I do suffer from a bad back, pilates has helped me to over come that. It has also enabled me to carry on teaching other disciplines. I get so much enjoyment from my clients telling me they have really noticed a difference in their posture.
I have a few pregnant ladies attend my classes and decided to look into Pre and Post Natal Fitness. Now qualified in Pre & Post Natal Pregnancy Prescription. Qualified to teach Outdoor Pre & Post Natal Exercise with babies.
I'm now a Qualified Wellwoman Health Specialist in Pilates.
